MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni revealed the special meaning of Independence Day for the former India wicketkeeper in an Instagram Story on Tuesday. Ms Dhoni’s mother Devaki Devi also celebrates her birthday on this day. On Tuesday, Sakshi expressed her good wishes to her mother-in-law Devaki Devi by posting some pictures of her.

Dhoni posted on Instagram on 15 August 2020 with the caption: “Thank you so much for your love and support. Consider me retired from 19:29.”

MS Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981, the youngest child of Paan Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi. Mahi is the youngest of three children; His elder siblings are Jayanthi Gupta and Narendra Singh Dhoni.

Devaki Devi, who lives in Ranchi, has always been a homemaker who preferred to stay out of the limelight.

Even though MS Dhoni has been out of the international game for three years, he is still serving as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dhoni, who turned 42 last month, led CSK to an unprecedented sixth IPL 2023 championship.
